• Batteries/cells are enclosed into electrolit absorbent, inner packaging works as vibration reducer.
• Inner packaging material has to be fireproof and provide adequate thermal insulation between cells

Inner packaging

• CIRRUX® is an ideal packaging material for shipping defective Li-ion batteries. It is non-conductive, inert, non-flammable and has low thermal conductivity.

• Extover ® granulate displaces oxygen and separates it from the fuel. Like glass, Extover® melts at a certain temperature. The granulate absorbs a lot of heat in the form of melting energy, thereby cooling the fire and forming at the same time an impermeable layer over the fire load. A reaction with oxygen is effectively prevented.
